Debra Trofholz: building dreams into realities through positive thinking
I had the opportunity to meet with Debra Trofholz recently. She’s a Dream Builder Coach—which means she helps people turn their dreams into realities—and she touched on an important question that many of us ask ourselves: “What is it that those successful people have that I don’t?”
Debra thinks that the basic answer is quite simple. It’s all about our mindsets and the purpose that drives us from day-to-day. Join us to hear more about:
- How Debra went from stay-at-home mom to a “master of life”
- How a genuine purpose makes many of life’s difficulties easier
- What exactly the universal law of thinking is (and what it means for you)
- How your thoughts dictate the reality that unfolds before you
As we talk, Debra shares why she believes that we become what we think about: In essence, she says, “Whatever we plant in our subconscious mind and nourish with repetition and emotion will become reality.”
She offers words of wisdom from some of the great minds that inspire her, including Ralph Waldo Emerson. One of his famous thoughts inspires the work she does daily in teaching people to change their thoughts to change their lives: “Stand guard at the portal of your mind.”
Once you’ve tuned into our conversation about teaching yourself to let your thoughts serve you—not the other way around—I’d love to hear your feedback. How have negative thoughts held you back (or sabotaged) you in the past, and how have positive ones helped propel you toward your dreams?
Debra is a DreamBuilder Coach, a Certified Life Coach by Life Mastery Institute. She loves teaching clients to unlock their true potential, achieve outrageous success, and live a life they love living.
