Kim Isherwood’s Insight into Reducing Stress, Gaining Perspective, and Forming Positive Habits
Kim Isherwood has many titles, including Registered Nurse, Intuitive Medium, and Hypnotherapist. Over the years, she’s learned a few things that can help all of us find the motivation, determination, and self-love necessary to achieve success.
Kim and I caught up recently for a great conversation on what makes things like hypnotherapy and spiritual retreats beneficial. It’s not what you might think. Tune in to hear us talk about the importance of:
- Being present in the moment
- Letting go and letting someone else lead you now and then
- Training your brain to expect health and balance, not stress
Kim is full of simple, actionable ideas everyone can implement to brighten busy days and banish negative habits. We also talked about the importance of helping others to gain perspective about what really matters in our own lives.
What’s one simple thing Kim thinks everyone can do to change their mindset? Remember that “anything is possible. It really is. And 99 percent of why we don’t do things is because we’ve talked ourselves out of it.” Don’t let the fear response rule you, she says. If you want something, the only way to get it is to take it.

Once you watch the video, I’d love it if you joined in with your own thoughts. What one thing will you incorporate (daily or weekly) to rejuvenate and practice self-care? Have any of the tips Kim suggested worked for you?
