My Dentist Taught Me About Discipline

Like everyone who cares about the health of his or her teeth’s, every six months, I have to take a trip to my dentist. I do not know about you, but I hate paying a visit to my dentist, especially if I have to go through any of those “painful” processes.
My latest visit went well with the cleaning. My dentist told me that my teeth and gum look healthy, but I need to be consistent flossing.
He was right. I floss my teeth, but not disciplined to do it every day. I should. It reminds me of my lack of discipline.
We usually don’t think about it that way, but simple habits like flossing are important and can help us being disciplined and accomplished other great things.
To stick to that routine, I put my toothbrush and flosses bag at the same spot, so it reminds that I have to floss when I brush my teeth.
I am glad that my dentist reminded me about discipline through the simple act of flossing.
