The Beauty of Nature
I have to be honest. I am not used to be spending time with nature nor have I enjoyed its beauty. Every time, I had the opportunity, I don’t take the time to observe and appreciate nature.
It changed recently.
A couple of months ago, my family and I spent a great time, traveling along the East Coast from New Hampshire to Vermont to Connecticut. Being exposed so much to nature during our trip changed my perspective. I was able to see and connect to the beauty of nature.
What made me so appreciative of nature was our visit to Newport, CT, where, sitting on a small beach, I witnessed the sunset. A peaceful moment, listening to birds singing, smelling the air, and the paintings of the sun color on the water were breathtaking.
I spent a great moment paying attention and connecting with nature. It was a great experience that allows me to focus, see clarity in my thoughts and forget my problems.
From now, I have made the commitment to spend more time with nature and to be more aware of the world around me.
